I started my career as a Physician Assistant in Family Medicine. During my 14 year medical career, I have honed my listening skills and ability to empathize with people’s stories. I continue to practice medicine alongside life coaching. I have worked part-time in medicine throughout my career in an effort to promote work-life balance. Practicing medicine allows me to coach people towards physical and mental wellness. Life coaching allows me to pursue my passion of focusing on mental and emotional wellness, which has a huge impact on overall health.
My Journey
I am the mom of 3 girls, ages 12, 10, and 5. I love taking my girls on road trips, doing crafts, or finding local adventures to experience as a family. I have navigated major health concerns and uncertainty with one of my kids. I relied on my inner strength, journaling, therapy, and diverse group of supportive friends to get me through the difficult days. I am happy to report that my daughter is now thriving.
In 2023-2024, I went through a divorce. My divorce has spurred substantial growth in my life as I have navigated multiple life changes in a short period of time, including identifying as queer. Coming out has brought both support from some and disapproval from others. I have further relied on my coping skills to navigate the challenges of divorce and disapproval. I am proud of my resilience and want to use my life experience to support my clients. I currently find fulfillment and happiness by living according to my values and in community. Sharing custody of my kids has provided time to rediscover my true self, including exploring new interests. In my free time, I love to spend time with friends and my girlfriend, garden, play the piano, read, or put together a puzzle. I love to travel and experience other people’s cultures and foods. I find fulfillment when I connect deeply with people or go on an adventure. I am very passionate about living my life authentically, both personally and professionally.
